The Watt engine was a huge part of the industrial revolution. Many industries in that time used the Watt engine because of its efficiency and its capability to lower fuel prices and production prices. The watt, the unit of power in science, was named after James Watt because of his contribution to math and science. Watt was a defining part of the industrial revolution and many of his ideas and inventions are still put to use today. James Watt proved to people everywhere that all it takes to invent something is a little hard work and an idea. James Watt had an idea and he knew if he wanted something done about it he would have to do it himself. He worked for years to just improve one thing. He reinvented the steam engine and because of this we all have things to learn in the fields of science, math, history and leadership.
